Valentino’s Virtu-Sphere Victory

Valentino has opened a museum unlike any other because — while magnificent — it exists entirely in the “virtual” sphere.  After talks with the city of Rome, his intended original location for a real-world structure, stalled, he moved onto creating a digital environment to house nearly 4 decades of his magnificent designs.  I was a bit skeptical, at first, of visiting a virtual museum but it’s actually a very engaging experience that showcases Valentino’s incredible talent.

You can read all about the museum and see more pictures in an article by designer Marcella Milio on my other blog, Italian New York.
