Jenifer Mangione Vogt
Jenifer Mangione Vogt is a writer and marketing professional that specializes in art and Italian food, wine and culture. Within the realm of art, she has specialized knowledge of American art from 1820 till the present and Italian art from the Renaissance till the present.
She has her bachelor’s degree in Art History and has had over 50 of her articles published in art publications in New York and South Florida and has 20 years of experience in corporate and nonprofit marketing for Fortune 500 companies, including Mastercard International and The Bank of New York. She’s developed annual marketing plans and managed budgets in excess of $1 million and managed relationships with leading public relations and creative firms. This combination of art knowledge and business acumen is invaluable to her clients.
She studied at Purchase College under influential critics Irving Sandler, George Baker and Robert Storr and scholars Paul Kaplan, Eric Carlson, Jane Kromm, Elizabeth Childs and Elizabeth Guffey. During her studies, she completed internships in the education department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the public relations department at The Neuberger Museum, the Estates & Appraisals Depatment at Christie’s New York, as a restorer at the 1890s House in Cortland, NY and as an editorial assistant for Art in America.
From 2001 until 2006, she served on the Board of Deacons for the Union Church of Pocantico Hills, which was built by the Rockefeller family and contains original stained glass windows by Marc Chagall and Henri Matisse.
She is the founder of JMV Media Group. Her articles have appeared in JetSet Magazine, ArtLog, ArtPulse, ArtDistricts, Palm Beach Arts Paper, Ambassador (NIAF), Knight Arts Blog, Tutto NIAF Blog, The Italian Tribune, The Journal News, The Scarsdale Inquirer.
